Design and development

Our approach to development is to make it virtually risk-free for our clients.

Before the project gets underway, you will know the entire cost of the development because we charge a single fixed price for design and development that includes full customization for company-specific rates and coverages. This "single charge" policy protects you from budget creep and unpleasant surprises associated with "Pay as You Go" fee systems. And our development charge is far more competitive than others in the industry.

As a final safeguard, we do not expect payment until the project has been completed to your satisfaction.

Annual licensing and maintenance

Payment of an annual licensing/maintenance fee entitles the company and its agencies to use the software. There are no per-user, per-machine, or per-site charges. The annual fee also entitles the company to receive regular maintenance involving rate and rating rule changes.

Customers sign a contract with EZ-RATER Systems that establishes the annual fee for the initial year. In each subsequent year, fee increases are limited to the amount of the cost-of-living increase for that year (see side panel).
