The contract governing the use of EZ-RATER software specifies the two annual fixed costs and establishes their amounts.

1. Annual licensing fee

Per line of insurance, there is a modest annual fixed licensing fee for the software for each state, based on the complexity of the program and the number of states licensed. As provided for in the contract, the licensing fee covers various types of maintenance at no additional charge.

2. Annual hosting fee

The annual charge includes server resources, data back-up, monitoring, and security certificate.
